ALEXANDER LLOYD WALKE, JR.

Remembering Alex

A "no nonsense "calm spirit, fiercely loyal to those he loved and a "Super Dope" saxophone and flute player.  Just a few of many words and adjectives that describe my life love companion and musical superstar. 

Initial impressions of him were that he was a "cholo " evidenced by the numerous times he was approached by Spanish-speaking individuals at the farmer's market.  :-)  Alex was laid back with a great sense of humor, a wonderful human being and awesome musician.  We spent 16 happy years  together in love and music until he got his wings early on December 4, 2024 (the saddest day of the year for me).  I will ALWAYS love him and NEVER EVER  forget him and all the joy and happiness we shared. I miss you Alex :-)

RIH LOLA

Gone but never forgotten...

There are certain people who, without even knowing it, make this world a little brighter and a little nicer... such a person was the mega talent, Lola. She and I were "Sisters" in the Wilbe Records Family and she was always a joy to work with. She got her wings  on March 30, 2022. I am still shocked at her passing (way too soon) and will greatly miss her. My deepest condolences to her family. Praying for strength and comfort as you face the future without her presence. Missing this Queen of the Blues already. RIH Lola
